When the family relocated to a farm, it gave Heather and Amandine a newfound appreciation for clean, uncomplicated, natural living. Less is more and it’s a welcome change from the stressed, consumer-driven identity that goes hand-in-hand with city living. They began to develop, along with their chemist, the formulation for ‘Inner Glow Face Oil’. The concept behind Inner Glow is similar to their way of life on the farm – simple, natural, and effective, back to basics.

Everything developed is with the family, where they work together, and succeed, as a team. Amandine Sol Botanicals is currently developing new products that meet the demand for natural and sustainable skin solutions.

Sydney Karmes-Wainer, Founder of French Squirrel, once had an unhealthy obsession with social media's diet culture. She developed many orthorexic tendencies (orthorexia is the unhealthy obsession with eating “clean” foods and eating “perfectly” all the time). Due to health issues, Sydney decided to take control of her health and begin healing her relationship with food and exercise. She started her own food Instagram, where she documented all the recipes she made and restaurants she went to. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara and then began to work in brand management at LA’s premier grocer.

She then created her snack, what are now called “Berets” – refrigerated, 100% chocolate-coated protein bites that are vegan, gluten-free & filled with nutrient-dense, organic ingredients. Her colleagues and family convinced her to turn this into a business which is now French Squirrel.

Today, she's on a mission to share real, nutritious, and delicious food with snack lovers everywhere.
